Here’s to the next fantastic year!” ~ Kate, Owner/Tour Coordinator PTBT

I have been blessed to have had a long professional relationship with Kate and Page Turner Book Tours. Her organization of the tours and cover launches has always exceeded our expectations. She is thorough and knows what she’s doing. I believed enough in the company that Page Turner Book Tours is the official coordinator for 5 Prince Publishing. Kate sets up tours for our cover/book launches, for each of our authors, as well as book tours. Her prices are very fair and that helps individuals and small businesses. I give Kate and Page Turner Book Tours 5 STARS, for their consistently good service, well managed tours, and comfort level when working with them. If you are looking to promote yourself or your book I highly recommend Page Turner Book Tours.” – Bernadette Soehner, CEO, 5 Prince Publishing, Lost And Found Tour Details

I enjoyed working with Page Turner Book Tours in 2012 for my second Lash Series Book, Shadow Man. Kate was able to arrange far more stops than I’d initially hoped for, and also garnered my book several five star reviews! The spreadsheet she gave me to work from had all the relevant contact information to write tailored engaging posts for each site, and she fulfilled every part of the agreement to create and deliver signature prizes for the tour. She tried her very best to make my tour the best it could be. The best recommendation is that I will be using her services again this summer to promote another coauthored work!

Service: At least half of service is value for the money spent. Kate gives great packages and I feel I got a very good value for the money I spent with her. She was knowledgeable and answered my questions in a timely fashion. I especially appreciated the reviews as part of the package, of which almost all were favorable.

Communication: the other half of service for this type of promotion is communication, and Kate was very good in that aspect as well. For my tour, I had a total of 5 interviews to complete, along with 12 guest posts. She got me info for topics and interview questions as soon as she had them, which helped me stay ahead and on time with my side of the tour.

Overall tour running: 5 starsTara Fox Hall, Author, Lash Tour Details

I have had the pleasure of working with Page Turner Book Tours for just a few short months. When I first contacted Kate and told her what I was looking for, she helped walk me through everything that they could do, what it would entail on my part as well as what was to be expected from her and Page Turner Book Tours.

Every time I have any questions Kate is sure to replay quickly. I have not encountered many problems while working with Page Turner Book Tours other than a few Bloggers did not follow through on their end. Which, I by no means, hold against Page Turner Book Tours.

Kate does a wonderful job communicating what is needed by all her bloggers, if you are interested then you just let her know and she does the rest. All you have to do as a blogger is set it up to go on your scheduled date.

Overall I think Kate and Page Turner Book Tours do a wonderful job with their Press Releases, Interviews, Book reviews and scheduling who needs to be where and what time.  I would give Page Turner Book Tours 5 out of 5 stars!” ~ Marie, 5 Prince Publishing

Page Turner Book Tours is a great resource for authors and I have personally found Kate and her tour company to be worth their weight in gold! I have worked with Kate on book tours for myself and I have even joined book tours for other authors as a host. Each time I have found Kate to be absolutely wonderful to work with. With many tours running consecutively Kate is adept and masterful as she customizes each tour to the specific author and his/her book.

Kate is a marvelous coordinator and I can’t wait to work with her in the future on a book tour.  If you are looking for a company to schedule a tour, than I recommend working with Kate at Page Turner Book Tours. She will customize a tour specifically for you and work with book bloggers making your tour run as easy as possible leaving you with a sense of satisfaction and a great tour experience!

Page Turner Book tours is definitely a five star company!” M.M. Shelley, Murder On Mars Tour Details

Excerpt:

Faith… But First You MUST Believe

In order to please God, we MUST have faith. In order to surrender to God’s will, we MUST have faith. In order to embrace God’s perfect plan for our lives, we MUST have faith. In order to understand God’s perfect timing, we MUST have faith. Faith is at the core. It is at the very center. This concept cannot be ignored; neither can it be pushed to the side and dealt with at a later time. Some may ask, if this concept is so important why are we just now talking about this in Chapter 7. My answer to that is very simple. When was the last time you saw a child born who started out eating meat? Never. Well, the same holds true when it comes to talking about transformation. It was important that we started out providing you with milk and soft food. And while what you have read throughout this guide thus far may have seemed somewhat difficult to digest, it was very basic. So make no mistake about it. This chapter on faith was strategically placed. Here is where we offer you some meat.

We have talked about transformation on so many levels throughout this guide, yet it is only now that we are beginning to see what is at the core of all of this. What MUST we really do if we want transformation to take place? What is at the heart of all this? Surrendering to God and His perfect plan and will for our lives, is a major step, however, we cannot surrender to God if we don’t believe He even exists

Monifa has been called by God to help others reach their God-given potential.  Her duty is to equip others with the proper tools and resources to move beyond their circumstances and live healthier and more productive lives, which she believes can only be found when one has a relationship with Jesus Christ.

#8Sunday- Jaded (Book Two of The Butterfly Memoirs) – Burn out

Sometimes, no matter how much we plan, “Captain Complication” finds a way to screw up everything…

Excerpt:

“Oh shit,” I groaned, and covered my face with my hands. Shit, shit, shit…”

I sat up and flipped the power switch on the computer tower. A spark of energy flashed and the smell of smoke permeated the air. Brandon and I jumped; he lunged for the power cord while I ran for the fire extinguisher in the hall. By the time I returned, the flames had died down.

Brandon whistled and fanned the smoke-filled room. “I hope you saved that information on a backup drive.”

Guest Post- Delaney Diamond- What Makes You Feel as Hot as a Romance Novel Heroine?

I’m talking about physical attributes—not inner beauty. In romance novels, we often read about characters that epitomize physical perfection. In reality, it’s hard to live up to those standards. The only people who seem to have perfect hair, teeth, skin, and bodies are models. But they require a team of stylists and strategic airbrushing.

Even worse, they’re constantly scrutinized because their salary is based on their looks. They’re forced to maintain unrealistic weights and eating habits that the average Jane (as in, me) would never agree to. I’d rather be plump than hungry, you know what I mean? If I want the loaded mashed potatoes, I’m eating the doggone loaded mashed potatoes, and I dare anyone to take the fork out of my hand. Still, if you’re anything like me, you’re probably very critical of your appearance. As women, we not only pick ourselves apart, we pick apart other women.

Many romance novels describe the heroine as downright perfect—with a great body, great hair, intelligent, successful, eats her vegetables and spends all her free time volunteering for various charities. Outside the pages of those novels, life is not so rosy.

There are also the novels that depict the heroine as an “average Jane” who the hero finds irresistible. She may not see herself as beautiful, but he does. It may be her smile or her hair. Or a combination of both. Whatever it is, he can’t get her out of his mind.

Since none of us are perfect (if you happen to be perfect, keep it to yourself), we’re tearing a page out of the romance heroine play book and seeing ourselves the way a romance novel hero would.

As for me, what makes me feel hot are my legs. I’ve been told I have a nice pair. I love showing them off in dresses and shorts when the weather is warm.

Now it’s your turn. What one thing would you notchange about yourself and makes you as hot as a romance novel heroine? To help you with the answer, think about these questions:

1.      What would the hero notice first about you?
2.      What do you tend to get compliments on?
3.      What physical attribute do you play up to make you feel sexy?
4.      What do you, personally, think is your finest attribute?
Please, no answers like “my personality.” You’ll automatically be disqualified from the contest. We’re talking physical attributes—something someone can actually see. No one can see your personality from across the room. I want you to be a little vain today. So pay yourself a compliment!

Blurb:

Renaldo da Silva’s near-perfect life in Brazil comes to a halt when he finds out about his wife’s betrayal. Now he doesn’t want to have anything to do with her. But because he needs her help finalizing the biggest deal of his career, he’s forced to make her a multi-million dollar offer and delay their divorce.

Sabrina da Silva can’t forgive herself after a reckless night destroys her marriage. She agrees to help her husband and then disappear from his life for good. But with passion still smoldering between them, it’s not easy  for either to walk away. Will passion be enough to overcome the ultimate test of their love?
Excerpt
From his position next to a window, he had a good view of the street. He held his breath the minute he saw Sabrina descend from a taxi. She looked amazing. Vibrant, as if she hadn’t suffered at all since they’d been apart. She wore a fitted, short-sleeved maroon dress that hugged her body in all the right places, accentuating her womanly curves and reminding him of how she used to feel in his arms.
He loved her in red tones—maroon, burgundy, rose. They underscored the color of her skin—barely darker than his—in a flattering way. Had she worn that dress on purpose to influence him? The short hemline gave him an eyeful of long, honey-colored legs that looked stunning in a pair of heels the same color as her dress.
Her hair had grown since she’d moved to Brazil, now below her shoulders in a display of neatly arranged spiral curls. The highlights in her chestnut hair shone like burnished copper under the sun’s rays as she left the sidewalk and made her way inside the café. She turned heads as her tall body glided forward with a level of confidence that reminded him of the first time he’d set eyes on her in the bar in Chicago. She’d been striking then, and she was striking now.
Despite what she’d done, he couldn’t take his eyes off of her, tracking her movements like a starving man who had a mouth-watering tender cut of grilled steak dangled in front of him. Being without her had been difficult, because the disgusting part of this whole ordeal was that he couldn’t stop thinking about her. He still wanted her, ached for her. He could feel the tension taking control of his muscles.
He’d like to think the more time they spent apart, the easier it would be to forget her and the hold she had on him, but that hadn’t happened. His craving for her had never faded. He needed to maintain control where she was concerned, but it was impossible because her presence always evoked strong emotions in him.
He couldn’t evade the traitorous thought of her sensuous curves stretched out in their bed, or the resulting raw heat of desire that pulsated through his body. He could see her now, taking him deeper, matching him stroke for stroke.
His weakness for her was reprehensible. He reminded himself he’d had to replace their bed because she’d defiled it by inviting another man into it. It had been the first thing to go after he’d tossed her out that night. But look at her. She still had the power to stir him, regardless of what she’d done. He hated that. Hated remembering how good it had been.
